My client is seeking a dedicated People and Culture Support Officer to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting day-to-day operations within the People and Culture (PC) team, including onboarding, offboarding, maintaining employee files, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process. The successful candidate will also play a key role in various PC projects, enhancing the organisational effectiveness and employee satisfaction. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Recruitment Support: Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to completing pre-employment checks. Maintain and update our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure all recruitment activities align with our brand and compliance standards. Onboarding: From offer to end of probation, manage all onboarding processes. Prepare and issue employment contracts, conduct pre-employment checks, and coordinate induction programs to ensure a smooth integration of new hires. HR Systems and Document Management: Maintain accurate employee records in our HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring compliance with GDPR and other legal requirements. Generate reports to support various HR functions and maintain data integrity through regular audits. Administration and Advice: Manage the PC team's email inbox, provide administrative support, and respond to HR-related queries. Ensure timely data processing for payroll and support other administrative tasks as needed. Learning and Development: Assist with the administration of training programs and maintain accurate training records to support employee development initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in a support role within a People/HR function, particularly in recruitment and onboarding. Qualifications: CIPD Level 3 qualification is essential. Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint) and experience with HRIS/ATS. Abilities: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly and professionally. Personal Qualities: Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
