Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and amazing presentation
* Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines
* Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
* Collaborate with cafe owners to develop and implement cost-effective strategies for menu planning and pricing
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
* Train new kitchen staff members on proper food handling and preparation techniques
Skills:
- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide a positive dining experience for customers
- Proficient cooking skills to prepare a wide variety of dishes
- Knowledge of food production techniques and the ability to create high-quality meals
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe dining environment
- Willingness to help out in various areas of the restaurant as needed
- Previous experience working in a cafe or commercial kitchen setting is essential
