Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team on a large water networking contract in the South Wales area starting immediately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be proficient in the use of various tools and equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
* Carry out blowbacks in order to resolve blockages caused from the external stop tap.
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
* Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
* Perform basic carpentry work as needed to support plumbing installations.
* Assemble and install valves, fittings, and other components of plumbing systems.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working with various tools.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is essential.
* NVQ level 2 in Plumbing
