Our client, a leading insurance firm, is looking for a Claims Assessor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in supporting members, ensuring claims are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, process, and pay claims accurately across a range of products
* Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of claims activities
* Communicate regularly with claimants, providing clear updates and support
* Liaise with partners, treatment providers, and internal teams to resolve queries
* Investigate and respond to complaints or escalations promptly and professionally
* Ensure all claims are handled in line with FCA, Data Protection, and regulatory standards
About You:
* Previous experience within Claims or Insurance
* Strong decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail
* A customer-first mindset, able to handle sensitive queries with empathy and professionalism
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Proactive and adaptable, able to manage workloads effectively to meet service levels
* High personal standards in attendance, time-keeping, and conduct
