Role: Electrical Engineer (High Voltage HV)
Status: Contract, 12 months
Location: Middlesbrough, Daresbury or Thornton-Cleveleys
Addison Project Plc is seeking a contractor to provide High Voltage Electrical Engineering services for a period of 12 months. This service can be provided from either Middlesbrough, Daresbury or Thornton-Cleveleys and can also be provided on a part time ad hoc basic.
Services to be provided
* Site, surveys, visits and client meetings
* HV Electrical Cable routing drawings & cable schedules
* HV Electrical Engineering Design
* HV Electrical installation Scope of Work documents
* HV Electrical datasheets
* Checking and approval of Engineering Design
* Prepare vendor packs for invitation to tender and vendor liaison
* Technical evaluations of estimates
* Liaise with other disciplines; process, piping, mechanical, civil structural to co-ordinate requirements for vendor packages and design
* Technical assistance on equipment specifications and compliance of bids
Person specification
* You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree.
* Experience of relevant HV calculations, problem solving and ensuring projects remain to specification within set timescales and to budget
* A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection of electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial.
* You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders.
* Distribution and motor control experience is desirable as is experience of Pro / Engineer software
* Demonstrable experience of UK onshore HV Electrical Engineering within a COMAH environment.
