NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across clinical and non‑clinical professions. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
The post provides efficient Health Records support on wards, ensuring patient records are administered accurately, processed confidentially and available to the clinical team. This is a part‑time permanent role with a shift pattern of Mon, Tues & Thurs 09:30‑20:00 and Fri 09:00‑16:30.
Responsibilities
 * Reception of patients and general ward visitors
 * Answering telephone calls and booking appointments
 * Maintaining demographic information on the patient management system
 * Covering multiple wards as required and providing assistance to clinical staff
Qualifications
 * Previous clerical/reception experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
 * Excellent organisational, keyboard and communication skills
 * Proficiency in the use of computer systems and patient record management tools
