We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Monmouthshire to assist with the appointment of a Finance assistant, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £13.26 - £17.15 per hour

Summary:

Finance Assistant (Invoicing) role supporting the administration and production of invoices for Adult Care services. The position involves maintaining accurate client and attendance records, generating invoices, liaising with internal teams and providers, and ensuring all billing processes are completed in line with policies and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain and update client records and invoicing spreadsheets
* Record attendance for Adult Care services (e.g. Home Care, Day Care)
* Generate and process regular invoices using the Business World system
* Chase internal and external providers for missing or incomplete returns
* Liaise with income assessors regarding client financial information
* Adjust client charges and ensure accurate billing

Qualifications:

* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
* A-Level or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business (desirable)
* Relevant finance or administration training/qualification (advantageous)

Essential Requirements:

* Experience in finance administration, invoicing, or data entry
* Strong numeracy skills with high attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems (e.g. Business World or similar)
* Ability to manage large volumes of data accurately
* Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external providers

* You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
* You should have right to work in U.K
