Due to an exciting expansion at Middlestown Primary Academy, we are seeking to appoint some enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to add capacity to our support team. At Middlestown Primary Academy we take great pride in educating children in a friendly, challenging, exciting and purposeful environment. You will attend to the pupil’s learning in the classroom, support personal needs and provide general support to the class teacher in managing pupils in the classroom. The role will involve supporting children across the Key Stages, however an interest or experience of working in an Early Years’ setting would be advantageous due to the opening of our new 2-year-old provision. You will be required to have the ability to use your own initiative when responding to the needs of individual children, and excellent interpersonal skills.
The position is on a part-time basis working 25 hours per week. The working patterns are flexible and will be discussed during the interview process. If there are any days that you are unable to work, please can you indicate this on your application form. The position will have a half an hour unpaid lunch break per day.
