£24,000 - £29,000 DOE

Seeking a capable and motivated Legal Secretary to join our Commercial Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in legal administration or conveyancing, or a keen interest in commercial property, to contribute to a high-performing department.

You'll provide essential administrative and secretarial support to 2x fee earners, helping to ensure the smooth running of client transactions and delivering a consistently professional and friendly service.

Key Responsibilities:

Diary management, call screening, and file preparation for billing
Typing correspondence, photocopying, filing, and managing incoming communications
Preparing and submitting Stamp Duty forms and Land Registry applications
Drafting straightforward legal documents and supporting client matters
Liaising with clients and third parties to ensure timely updates
Upholding LEXCEL and Investors in People standards and Law Society requirements
Assisting with reception and postal duties as needed

Essential Skills and Experience:

Experience in commercial property, development, or conveyancing legal support
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication
Calm, professional approach under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively and manage a varied workload
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems

Desirable:

Legal Secretary Level 2 Certificate/Diploma
Familiarity with LEXCEL and Investors in People accreditation
Experience using the Land Registry portal and submitting Stamp Duty forms
