Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing, and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. About the Role:

A unique and exciting opportunity to be the Supply Chain Director of Celebro, a newly created business unit within Diageo Europe. Celebro will be the European hub for the development of Nurture Brands and will manage the end-to-end marketing, distribution and supply of current small-scale brands in the Diageo portfolio, selected for their growth potential. The initial core brands in the unit will be Don Papa and Ron Santiago De Cuba. Further brands will be added to the portfolio after a process of analysing future growth potential.

The Supply Chain Director will be leading the Supply Chain and Procurement of the newly created Celebro unit. The role will report into the General Manager and will be part of the Celebro Leadership Team, playing a key leadership role in bringing topline, bottomline, cash and organizational ambition to life.

The future role holder is accountable to lead the Planning, Logistics, Customer Service and partner with all others (including Brand Change and Innovation) as needed to be able to deliver the service, inventory, forecast accuracy/bias and cost savings.

3. will be the custodian for process, people, and digital capabilities, and operationalizing all the learnings and insights.

Interfaces:

This role operates within a highly complex and evolving network with the following dimensions:

4. Production hubs in Cuba and Philippines with external partners
5. Third party bottler and dry goods suppliers in Europe
6. Multiple route to market through third party distributors across Europe and other global markets
7. With the addition of new brands, additional supply chain responsibility across multiple product categories

Top Accountabilities:

8. Deliver Supply Chain Strategy for Celebro, supporting the growth of the brands in the business unit.
9. Run the Celebro Logistics operation, at the right service (on time, in full, no error), cost (logistics cost per case), compliance. Partner with Commercial, Procurement and Supplier(s) to ensure the physical distribution network is fit for purpose.
10. Leading and coaching the in-market supply organization
11. Simplifying and streamlining processes and controls
12. Ensuring the IBP process within the market works to the right standards
13. Ability to work outside of standard Diageo systems and processes. Ability to think out of the box and strong creative problem solving

Experience required/Skills/Capabilities

Previous Successful Experience:

14. Minimum 12 years’ experience working within progressive positions within the end-to-end Supply Chain function, within multiple disciplines
15. 5+ years first hand planning experience in Customer Engagement, IBP, S&OP, S&OE, Demand Planning is crucial.
16. Has developed and successfully implemented strategies
17. Has led cost savings in the past
18. Experience in multiple routes to markets including e-commerce
19. Having directly worked with senior business leadership

Desirable:

26. Experience with direct operational accountability of delivery on outcomes in a market of a group of markets working in a multinational CPG / FMCG
27. BSc in industrial engineering, supply chain, data science/statistics/applied mathematics, economics. Additional MBA or MSc in Supply Chain Management or similar would be desirable.
