Roadside Rescue Mechanic - Colchester
The AA is looking for a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join our teams in Colchester. You’ll go the extra mile for our members and be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, ready for anything, anytime, anywhere and in any weather. In return, we’ll provide training, support and opportunities for development.
Base salary and benefits are outlined in the job posting. Top performers can earn upwards of OTE £60,000.
Responsibilities
* A communicator: You are our master of diagnostics and essential in delighting customers. You’ll explain the situation clearly so customers feel safe that their needs will be met.
* A self-starter: You will work independently as well as within a team, driving to different locations in all weathers.
* A fixer/problem solver: You’ll use your technical expertise to resolve issues, whether by roadside repair or recovering the vehicle to a garage.
Qualifications
* NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience
* Full category B driving licence with 6 points or fewer
* Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
