Role
* As our Shop Manager on the Isle of Wight, you\'ll be at the heart of a vibrant retail space that\'s all about community, compassion, and purpose. You\'ll lead with energy and empathy, creating a shop that\'s more than just a place to browse—it\'s a place where people feel welcome, valued, and inspired.
* Lead and motivate a passionate team of staff and volunteers, bringing out the best in everyone.
* Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment where customers love to shop and return.
* Manage all aspects of shop operations, from eye-catching visual merchandising to efficient stock management.
* Drive performance and innovation, helping us meet financial goals and maximise our fundraising impact.
* Be a proud ambassador of the British Red Cross, connecting every customer interaction to our wider humanitarian mission.
What we\'re looking for
* Retail know-how at supervisory level, with a flair for customer service and handling cash.
* Leadership energy to inspire, support, and grow a high-performing team.
* A sharp commercial mindset, always looking for ways to boost performance and fundraising.
* Tech confidence, including using PCs and retail systems to keep things running smoothly.
* A real connection to our cause, with the passion to promote our shop as Isle of Wight\'s go-to charity retailer.
