Commercial Excellence Analyst Undergraduate Placement Year PPG | Birstall Plant The Role: To co-ordinate, facilitate and deliver on key projects to improve Commercial Excellence across the UK&I. Within the UK&I, PPG ACUK have many sales channels with lots of exciting opportunities moving through the sales pipeline each day. This role is part of a Commercial Excellence team who track all this sales activity and identify opportunities for growth and development, each week. It is the perfect role for a commercially minded, self-motivated individual who would like daily exposure to a wide commercial environment. This role would be perfect for someone who is keen to learn and develop, relies on analytical data and enjoys presenting to groups. Responsibilities: Daily contact with commercial colleagues across UK&I to progress projects, opportunities and solve problems Interaction with other departments such as service, technical & marketing to provide solutions to deliver the 360 degree view of customers Sending out Weekly Commercial Excellence Reports to all major internal stakeholders. Review all Commercial Excellence Data each week, create reports for the different sales channels and communicate these on a weekly basis. Support integration of Commercial Excellence with our sales network and support ongoing Training/Onboarding process Review ongoing UK Commercial Excellence KPI Progress. Work with sales teams to implement and action improvement programmes Key Skills: Business and commercially aware, ideally with experience of working in a commercial environment Able to work without close supervision and use their own initiative Good inter-personal skills such as the ability to build good working relationships Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently to ensure deadlines are met Diligent and strong ability to deal with priorities Enjoy presenting to/working with, different people PC literate with knowledge of numerical applications such as Excel and presentation software such as PowerPoint Understanding of business performance indicators (KPIs) Understanding of key commercial and business drivers Experience and Qualifications Currently in their 2nd year of university studying for a degree in a related field PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
