Dean Close Kingham Hill School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of Physics and Engineering to join our Science department.
Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Physics up to Key Stage 5, alongside contributing to our Engineering BTEC provision.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Physics and Engineering to a high standard, including GCSE, A Level, and BTEC.
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement.
* Support pupils of all abilities to achieve excellent academic outcomes.
* Promote STEM pathways, including engineering and physical sciences.
* Maintain high standards of laboratory safety and organisation.
* Contribute to enrichment activities such as clubs, trips, and competitions.
* Engage positively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience of teaching Pearson Edexcel BTEC Engineering and connecting Physics to real-world engineering applications would be an advantage.
* Ability to deliver high-quality teaching across KS3 to KS5.
