The Willows Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a Caretaker to join the team as soon as possible.
This is a full time position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary Scale 4, Point 7. Actual Salary £27,131 per annum (including paid annual leave which should be taken during school closure periods).

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking, conscientious and self-motivated Caretaker who will provide a key role in maintaining our school site, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
* carry out a range of building maintenance, first line repairs and DIY duties, ensuring our buildings and grounds are secure and well maintained with a high standard of appearance
* be responsible for unlocking the premises and supervising the gate at the start/end of the school day and other times when necessary
* be required to respond to incidents around the school on a daily basis such as cleaning up accidents and spillages, setting up/clearing away of certain equipment (e.g chairs and tables) and porterage.
* undertake cleaning duties and effectively monitor cleanliness around the school, keeping track of stock levels and ordering supplies
* work well as part of a team and has a commitment to improving and developing their own practice
Full training and uniform will be provided.
