They are looking for a Community Safety Team Leader to join their Resident Services team on a 10-week temporary contract.
In this frontline role, you’ll lead a small team delivering exceptional tenancy and neighbourhood management services, with a particular focus on community safety, including anti-social behaviour (ASB), domestic abuse, and tenancy fraud.
Please see below for the key responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and support a team of Community Safety Officers, a Housing Officer, and a Housing Administrator.
* Oversee and manage complex ASB, domestic abuse, and tenancy fraud cases, ensuring appropriate interventions and legal processes are followed.
* Deliver effective tenancy and neighbourhood management, ensuring compliance with housing legislation and internal policies.
* Collaborate with partner agencies such as the Police, Local Authorities, and MARAC/MAPPA to safeguard residents and promote safer communities.
* Support and train staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet operational performance targets.
* Manage estate inspections, tenancy audits, and proactive neighbourhood initiatives.
* Act as a key contact for legal case management, including case preparation and court attendance.
About You
* Experience leading or supervising a housing or community safety team.
* Proven experience managing ASB, domestic abuse, and tenancy fraud cases.
* Strong understanding of tenancy and housing legislation.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Ability to build strong partnerships with residents and external agencies.
* Experience preparing and presenting cases for legal proceedings.
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
