4-month initial contract with likely extensions. £40-£45 per hour contract rate as a guide.

We are seeking a Contract CAE Engineer to support a cutting-edge automotive crash analysis project. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in LS-DYNA within a highly respected engineering team.
This CAE Engineer LS-DYNA role will suit:
Proven experience in automotive crashworthiness analysis using LS-DYNA.
Demonstrate an understanding of vehicle crash test regulations.
Proficiency with pre- and post-processing tools such as ANSA, HyperMesh etc
Solid background in finite element analysis (FEA) and structural mechanics.
Ability to work independently and manage deliverables to tight deadlines
You are likely to be degree in a Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related engineering discipline.
The CAE Engineer LS-DYNA contract role will involve:
Perform detailed crash simulations using LS-DYNA.
Analyse and interpret results to evaluate structural performance, safety compliance, and energy absorption.
Work closely with engineering teams to propose design improvements based on simulation findings.
Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders
This Contract CAE Engineer LS-DYNA role is commutable from Leamington Spa, Warwick, Coventry, Banbury, Northampton, Rugby, Redditich, Evesham, Southam, Solihull, Gaydon, and surrounding areas.
