An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to join the North West Community Nursing Team. Providing Immediate and Planned Care to patients in the community. The multidisciplinary teams provide nursing and therapy services offering an alternative to hospital admission. Supporting timely discharge, and enabling people to realise their potential and functional independence.

Promotes a 'can do' attitude and determination to develop and sustain a dynamic and responsive clinical and administrative support service within a Community Hospital/Community Team setting, which delivers best practice.

Training and Qualification
GCSE Level C+ in English and Maths or Level 2 functional skills in English and Maths (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this.
Level 2 in health and social care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this.
Awareness of the role of the Healthcare Support Worker
Able to meet the travel requirements of the role
Knowledge of the role of the health care assistant role in context, including phlebotomy
