Trainee Project Engineer - IOS
In your role, you will support the Project Team (consisting of Project Engineers, Site Managers and commercial staff) in the delivery of Civil and MEICA projects in the Water Industry. Primarily working in the pre-construction phase, whilst providing support to our site teams if required in the construction phase. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong practical/engineering skills and customer-facing experience looking for the chance to train, grow and develop within a specialist industry.

Do you have the passion to lead projects, drive continuous improvement and deliver innovation towards maintaining the health of our waterways through Water Recycling treatment or the delivery of clean, safe drinking water through the Clean Water treatment process?
In this varied role, you will be both site and office-based. You will be provided with extensive on-the-job and external training for you to become an expert within the industry.
This role requires strong engineering and practical skills with experience in a customer-facing role.
Responsibilities and duties are focused on supporting civil and MEICA project delivery within the Water industry in East Anglia, with growth into project management as you develop.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the delivery of Civil and MEICA projects within the Water industry in East Anglia
* Producing detailed reports
* Liaising with clients
* Office and site-based work (travel required)

Person Specification
The successful candidate is likely to meet all the following criteria:
* Hands-on engineering background
* Experience in a customer-facing role
* Engineering qualification NVQ or higher
* Happy with regular travel within the Anglian Waters catchment
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Lives a commutable distance from Peterborough / Northampton
