What the Job Involves As a Public Health Officer, you will contribute to the Public Health Team's three core areas: Health Improvement, Health Protection, and Healthcare Public Health. You will plan and manage public health projects, engage with the community, and manage Public Health Contracts for services such as smoking cessation, drug and alcohol treatment, and sexual health services. Your role involves promoting health improvement programmes, supporting commissioning and procurement, and aligning public health strategies with broader strategic priorities. You will also build partnerships to address health inequalities and ensure coordinated, impactful public health interventions.
