Role Opportunity About this Role The Senior Manager, Procurement Executive Advisory is responsible for providing expert guidance to senior leaders at client organisations leveraging your senior experience and Hackett IP and insights, to manage an assigned portfolio of existing client relationships together with the assigned account manager, and to deliver compelling insight that make our members long-term clients. Provide Expert Guidance: Be a trusted advisor, able to coach procurement leaders and their direct reports on key issues related to delivering business value, best practice adoption, and transformation of S2P processes and the procurement function to become a strategic business enabling team. Develop Thought-Leadership: Collaborate within the global Procurement Advisory practice to support production of novel insight, to support creation of rigorous analysis of Hackett research, and to deliver engaging oral and written presentations Event and Briefing Co-ordination, Preparation and Delivery: Comfortable leading formal and informal briefings to client companies, virtually and in person, as part of small and larger groups, to deliver webcasts, and podcasts. Community Building: Support the development and maintenance of a network of clients to exchange best practices in membership events. Business Development: Responsible for client retention of an assigned client portfolio in collaboration with account management. Flexible location - choose to work from our London office or work from home. Some UK and European travel is needed (potentially 1-2 days per month). Candidate Profile About the Candidate As a senior manager you will manage approx. 10-12 client accounts, forming trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, and responding to their inquiries with insights on strategic priorities. You will enjoy working with procurement leadership teams, advising on best practice, thought leadership, latest procurement trends and strategies, and leading case study examples The role offers a fast-paced, varied working environment, that encompasses a broad range of procurement-related topics, clients and client maturity levels, and style formats. The ideal candidate will be looking for a challenging role, be self-motivated, curious and willing to learn, able to establish and develop valuable relationships with clients and colleagues and focused on delivering impact. The candidate will be part of a high impact team of 6 procurement advisors based in UK and Europe. In turn, this team is part of the larger European advisory practice supporting finance, HR, and IT, and collaborates with other US-based procurement advisor colleagues. Globally the teams are supported by a research and analyst team in India. Essential Experience: A broad background in procurement transformation/change and delivery, comprising (1) some combination of transformation, strategy, technology, excellence roles, AND (2) some combination of category management, sourcing, and/or supplier management roles. Progressive career in at least two or more private sector industries, with senior level experience as well as an ability to evidence and demonstrate gravitas in a broad procurement arena. Significant years of industry and/ or consulting experience Degree qualified.
