Job Purpose
Participates in engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
1. Participates as a fully contributing member of a project team;
2. Responsible for following TechnipFMC processes, Industry standards and best practices to deliver complete and accurate documents;
3. Must have the drive and initiative to independently communicate, gather information and make sound engineering decisions;
4. Manages technical design scope (full or partial) and ensure technical compliance and quality as well as on-time delivery;
5. Attend meetings with project teams and interface within and with other disciplines to provide engineering solutions;
6. Undertake pipeline analytical calculations with tools such as Mathcad and Excel;
7. Undertake pipeline analysis using relevant software;
8. Report & write project deliverables;
9. Perform all reasonable job tasks required by line manager.
You are meant for this job if:
10. Experience in pipeline in-place calculations or analysis for on-bottom stability, global buckling, spanning, expansion, etc.;
11. Experience in Riser, tie-in spool & jumper analysis using CAESAR II or AutoPIPE;
12. Experience in pipeline installation analysis using OrcaFlex or OFFPIPE;
13. Must have good computer skills and be proficient on Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Mathcad;
14. Must have good communication, writing and presentation skills in English, and excellent work ethics and work attitude; organizational skills a must;
Nice to have:
15. Specialist Masters;
16. Knowledge of pipelay methods (S-Lay, J-Lay, Reel-Lay) and design consequences thereof;
17. Experience using Abaqus FE software, including subroutines and scripts;
18. Programming in Python and/or Visual Basic or others;
