Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience and strong computer skills to support daily administrative operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient clerical support, ensuring smooth communication across departments, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
* Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
* Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
* Assisting with data entry tasks using Google Workspace
* Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
* Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings to optimise organisational efficiency
* Supporting the team with general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, and filing
* Assisting with invoicing and financial record keeping using Xero
Requirements
* Proven office experience or administrative experience is preferred
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace applications
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Demonstrated knowledge of clerical procedures and office management systems
* Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
