Were working in partnership with a fantastic college in West London to recruit a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their support team on a full-time, long-term basis.
About the Role:
As an LSA, you will work closely with students aged 16+ with a range of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. You will support students in and out of class, helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence and independence in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support in class and during study sessions
* Assist students in understanding and completing coursework
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Support students with personal care (if required - not always necessary)
* Liaise with teaching staff and SEN teams to monitor progress
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience as an LSA, TA, or Support Worker (education or care setting)
* A patient, flexible, and proactive approach
* A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply through us)
