We are currently looking for a Group Finance Manager (Accounting) who will ensure the finance team are focused on the accurate, standardised, cost effective and efficient recording of accounting entries and adjustments in Oracle Fusion. Ensuring full compliance with company accounting policies and focusing on a continuous improvement of team processes.
As the Group Finance Manager (Accounting), you will:
1. Manage the review, documentation and continuous improvement of the team’s standardised processes and provide training (including to wider stakeholders) to embed and maximise efficiencies of finance systems embracing innovative technology.
2. Lead and support the timely and accurate delivery of period end close activities included in the deliverables of the team collaborating closely with the Group Reporting team on continuously reviewing and improving the Close process.
3. Provide direction and support for team members, enabling their development and provide regular appraisals of performance.
4. Influence end-to end business processes with improvement opportunities, to reduce process delivery costs and ensure sustainability of processes.
5. Strategic management of transactional accounting processes for the business including areas such as journal input and control, cost reallocations, cost correction, Lease and Asset accounting, payroll and fleet integrations, in scope balance Sheet account reviews, intercompany integration and recharges, trial balance reconciliations and corrections, system error corrections.
We are looking for:
6. Strong technical accounting skills, qualified in professional accountancy qualification, e.g. CIMA/ACCA.
7. Experience of enhancing account reconciliations and validations.
8. Experience of leading a team with shared objectives and deliverables and supporting personal and professional development of direct reports.
9. ERP system experience, Oracle Fusion preferred.
10. Ability to review processes and drive improvements.
