Job Description
As an RF Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying complex RF sub-systems used in high-performance software-defined radio systems. You'll work closely with our clients team to input into the design and quality of electronic sub-systems, and collaborate with support functions to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and verify complex RF sub-systemsCollaborate with software, firmware, and mechanical engineering teamsEstimate, plan, and execute work to build business confidence and deliver projectsUse SPICE, electromagnetic, and signal integrity simulators, alongside Mentor Graphics toolsUtilize RF test equipment and custom test solutions to verify circuit performanceEssential Skills and Qualifications:Previous experience in RF and analogue circuit design, simulation, implementation, and verificationBroadband power amplifier and transmit/receive switch design experienceRF transmit/receive cascade design and analysis skillsEM and large-signal RF simulation experienceGood understanding of the electronics component market and current offeringsIntegration and test of PCB assemblies and systemsRequirements elicitation and managementExcellent communication and collaboration skillsThis role requires a minimum of 2 days onsite in Edinburgh, while the rest can be conducted remotely.Applications must be eligible for UK Security Clearance, and due to the nature of the work, is only open to Sole British Nationals.TPBN1_UKTJ
