Job Summary
As an ERP Systems Software Engineer, you will serve as a skilled and knowledgeable IT team member whose role is to provide business support and deliver best practices around the analysis, design, and development of software applications and solutions in line with business requirements.
Job Responsibilities
1. Support the development, testing, and implementation of new software solutions, upgrades, and enhancements.
2. Ensure the business is aware of the latest capabilities and drive standard application best practices.
3. Ensure IT security requirements are observed and integrated into future demands/requirements.
4. Provide structured training for business/functions for maximum effectiveness.
5. Be a trusted partner to the business in providing fit-for-purpose applications and solutions.
6. Stay informed of the latest capabilities and promote the use of standard tools and processes in the system arena.
7. Liaise with external parties (e.g., consultants, software vendors, auditors) as required.
8. Gather functional and non-functional requirements of systems, processes, and business models.
9. Support the change management process.
10. Assist in determining time and cost estimates for projects.
11. Identify options for potential solutions and assess their technical and business suitability.
12. Document processes and procedures, and maintain them.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on programming experience with .NET and C# in an MS Web Server environment.
* Minimum 3 years of experience creating and maintaining Oracle objects, stored procedures, tables, views, functions, materialized views, DB links, etc., in a relational database environment (preferably Oracle).
* Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
* Experience with Cincom Control is desired.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience with Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Finance, Engineering, and/or Purchasing.
* Experience working in an Aerospace and Defense environment.
