Job Description
A nurturing Autism specialist primary school in Swindon is looking for passionate teachers to help their pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school offers a supportive environment with outdoor learning and a strong partnership with families.
Role Overview:
* EYFS Teacher
o Role: EYFS Teacher
o Start Date: ASAP
o Contract: Full-time, permanent
o Salary: MPS - UPS + SEN Allowance
o Further Info: Candidates will ideally have EYFS experience and strong SEND knowledge and understanding
* Primary SEND Teacher
o Role: Primary SEND Teacher
o Start Date: ASAP
o Contract: Full-time, permanent
o Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS 1 - MPS 6)
o Further Info: Candidates will ideally have a solid understanding of SEND in primary education
* Primary SEND Teacher with Literacy Lead
o Role: Primary SEND Teacher with Literacy Lead (includes TLR)
o Start Date: ASAP
o Contract: Full-time, permanent
o Salary: MPS - UPS. Plus SEN Allowance and TLR
o Further Info: Candidates will ideally have a solid understanding of SEND in primary education and the ability to lead on literacy
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to undergo the process)
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (for overseas candidates, ENIC recognition and right to work are required)
* Have a sound understanding of SEND within the appropriate age group.
* Be a reflective, empathetic, and engaging practitioner, passionate about making a real impact on pupils' lives
* Have high expectations for every pupil, with confidence in using effective classroom management strategies
* Build strong rapport with students, staff, and the wider school community
