Are you an Maths Teacher committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people? As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Maths Teacher to join our fantastic team at Norton College in Worcester.
To provide a high-quality education service for our students in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. To work with the Head Teacher, leadership team and other stakeholders to secure high standards throughout the school.
KEY TASK AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Devising schemes of work and creating innovative learning modules
2. Leading the teaching of PSHE and RSE Curriculum across key stages
3. Managing staff within the PSHE department
4. Planning, delivering, and teaching individual students or small groups, in accordance with the School’s Curriculum framework and related policies
5. Monitoring, recording, and reporting on student progress
6. Contributing to and helping implement developments related to the School Development Plan
7. Promoting, in line with Company policies, the physical, educational, and moral development of students
8. Developing and implementing an environment and learning program for individual students to ensure appropriate progression
9. Coordinating teaching, development, assessment, recording, and reporting across key stages as agreed with the Head Teacher
Requirements:
* QTS
* Education Degree or equivalent experience
* Experience working with SEN, SEMH students
* Understanding of trauma-informed approaches
