Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering
Location: Motherwell (travel to Falkirk / Grangemouth)

About The Role
Balfour Beatty delivers infrastructure projects that underpin daily life across Scotland. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a civils background to support major civil engineering works in the Central Belt.
Key Responsibilities
* Procuring and managing supply chain partners.
* Measuring, recording and valuing work in line with project requirements.
* Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities and schedules of rates.
* Supporting monthly cost reconciliations and value reporting.
* Working closely with project teams to ensure financial and contractual control.
* Building strong relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors.
Qualifications
* Degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc/MSc) or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in commercial management on civil engineering projects.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
* Drive and ambition, with a focus on achieving results and delivering excellence.
* Working towards or holding professional membership (RICS, ICES or CIOB) would be an advantage.
