Principal Technician
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: GBP40,000 : GBP50,000

A well:established civil and structural engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Technician to strengthen its Fareham office. As a Principal Technician, you will support highways, drainage and external works packages across residential, commercial and multi:phase developments.
This Principal Technician role combines high:level drawing production with technical checking, CAD standards management and team support.
Key responsibilities
* Produce detailed drawings for highways and drainage schemes
* Draft construction details from engineer input
* Manage CAD standards and drawing registers
* Check team drawings for accuracy and compliance
* Support civil engineers with technical outputs
* Maintain templates and technical documentation
Candidate requirements
* Six or more years technician experience
* Strong AutoCAD skills with Site3D, Civil 3D or PDS
* Experience supporting highways and drainage projects
* Exposure to large or phased development schemes
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills
