Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are seeking a motivated Computer Science (CS) Teacher who can bring digital concepts to life and help students build confidence in computing, programming, and problem-solving for schools in Barnsley (S70, S71). This CS Teacher role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys combining technical knowledge with creative teaching approaches.
Your CS Teacher Role in the Digital Classroom:
* Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across key stages
* Teach programming, algorithms, data, and computational thinking
* Encourage logical reasoning and independent problem-solving
* Adapt lessons to suit a range of abilities and learning styles
* Promote safe and responsible use of technology
* Maintain a positive, focused learning environment
What We’re Looking for in a CS Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Computer Science (preferred)
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* Confident, organised, and student-centred approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
