Your new roleAs Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of multi-skilled engineers responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy, advanced manufacturing site. You will ensure maintenance work is completed to a high standard, coach and support engineers, and coordinate all maintenance activity through SAP to ensure KPIs are met.Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and coaching maintenance teams, ensuring high levels of craftsmanship and accurate job reporting
* Coordinating workload via SAP and monitoring maintenance KPIs
* Managing equipment failure data and producing breakdown reports
* Procuring spare parts and materials for work orders
* Attending daily production meetings to prioritise activity
* Writing and reviewing maintenance procedures and risk assessments
* Carrying out full people-management responsibilities
What you'll need to succeed
* A 4-year time-served apprenticeship (mechanical bias preferred)
* Mechanical engineering experience within a maintenance workshop environment
* IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and develop engineering teams
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
* Experience using SAP for maintenance management (desirable)
