Finance Manager - Liverpool (City Centre)
Full Time | Permanent | £45,000 DOE + Benefits
Are you a hands-on Finance Manager looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? An exciting opportunity has arisen with a specialist construction business based in the heart of Liverpool.
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join the team and take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations and month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support project analysis and cashflow forecasting
* Lead month-end processes and assist with year-end audit preparations
* Process and review purchase and sales invoices
* Manage payment runs, PO reconciliations, and cash allocation
* Handle bank reconciliations and employee expenses
* Provide general financial administration and ad hoc support
What We're Looking For:
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
* Experience with CIS returns and VAT rates for construction
* Prior experience working in a SME environment
* Familiarity with Sage X3
* Confident problem-solver with a can-do attitude
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and implement best practices
