TheOpportunity:
As our Logistics andSupply Chain Lead you will play a critical role in optimising theflow of goods and materials within our offshore supply chain. Weare expanding our operations and are seeking a talented andmotivated individual to join our Supply Chain team within theProject Management Office (PMO).

MainResponsibilities
StrategicLogistics Management:
* Oversee theentire supply chain process from procurement to final productdelivery.
* Develop supply chain strategies thatare closely aligned with the broader goals of the company to ensurethat the supply chain is working towards the sameobjectives.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliersensuring quality reliability andcosteffectiveness.
Trade Complianceand Risk Mitigation:
* Ensure compliancewith local international and industryspecific regulations throughreviewing and assessing policies procedures andprocesses.
* Responsible for handlingimport/export control taxes and duties. Apply relevant regulationsand requirements and navigate the processefficiently.
* Manage DG (Dangerous Goods)shipment requirements andpermits.
Efficient Transportation andDistribution:
* Streamlinetransportation modes and distribution channels to designatedlocations for enhanced efficiency.
* Continuouslyevaluate and enhance shipping and delivery processes to ensuretimely and accurate deliveries.
* Implementrigorous quality control procedures at every stage of the supplychain to maintain high standards and preventdefects.
Team Leadership andCollaboration:
* Foster a culture ofgrowth and development within the team providing guidance andsupport to help them reach their fullpotential.
* Work closely with crossfunctionalteams including engineering projects sales and marketing to ensurealignment and drive operationalefficiency.
* Establish and maintain strongrelationships with suppliers subcontractors and crewing partners toensure seamless coordination and delivery of goods andservices.
Youshould apply if youhave:
Essential:
* Qualificationin logistics supply chain management business administration orrelated fields.
* Proven experience in logisticstransportation or supply chainmanagement.
* Experience working with customsbrokers or freight forwarders.
* Knowledge oftrade compliance regulations and bestpractices.
* Excellent communicationskills.
Desirable:
* Familiaritywith IncoTerms and best practices as well as industryspecificlogistics.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g.Navision IFS).
* Leadership abilities and a trackrecord of cost savings or efficiencyimprovements.
* Professional qualifications andcertification (e.g. IoSCMASCM).
