We are seeking a full time Employer Engagement Worker to join our Leeds Sensory Service.
As part of the role, you will be:
* To identify and engage with key stakeholders including employers, DWP Job Centre Plus and training providers in order to build and maintain relationships. Build a bank of employers willing to provide live vacancies, work placements and training opportunities.
* Identify live job vacancies and opportunities advertised by other organisations and work with the in house employment team to ensure these job vacancies are shared with their clients.
* To attend networking events including breakfast meetings and jobs fairs in order to promote the service.
To be successful for this post:
* Excellent Communication and presentation skills
* Able to promote the service, and encourage organisations and sensory impaired people to access the project
* Have the skills to work directly with sensory impaired people providing one to one support when needed.
