On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is recruiting experienced candidates with great attitudes for an open vacancy as a Grinder/Polisher in Cambridge, ON.

This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity with a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule and an immediate start available.
Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday: 7:am – 3:pm, Friday: 7:am – 2:pm
Pay Rate: $. – $./hr (dependent on experience) + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly
Responsibilities:
• Polish, grind, deburr, and sand high-end automotive components to remove excess welds, rust, and scale
• Inspect parts before and after finishing to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate equipment including spot welders, shears, panel saws, and friction saws
• Assemble finished components and small shipping crates as required
• Safely use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
• Communicate quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to the Supervisor promptly
• Support production requirements and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Previous grinding, polishing, metal finishing, manufacturing, or fabrication experience considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections and inconsistencies
• Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on work while maintaining a high level of quality
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• PPE required: Facial Respirator (no facial hair permitted), safety glasses, and long pants
• CSA-approved safety footwear required
