Support Worker Vacancies Available\n\nRole: Support Worker\n\nLocation: Across the North West of England and North Wales\n\nPay: £15 - £20ph\n\nHours:\n\nLong days (8am - 11pm) and sleep in\nShorter day shifts with varied times\n12 hour shifts 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am \n\nAbout the role\n\nThese roles will be working with children and young people with a range of Mental Health issues. You will be required to have experience working in a similar role. These positions are on a 2 to 1 basis.\n\nDuties include:\n\nYou will be required to ensure that children and young people are provided with the highest quality of care possible and to assist them reaching their fullest potential.\nTo ensure children's safety and well-being is appropriately protected at all times\nTo provide high standard help, care and support\nTo enable clients / families or children and young people (as appropriate) to enjoy a range of food and support them to buy their food from various places including markets/ super markets or specialist shops \n\nThe young people involved in these placements can have a range of needs, including: \n\nChallenging & aggressive behaviour\nLearning disability\nAutistic Spectrum Condition\nADHD\nPersonality Disorder\nSelf-Injury\nM.H diagnosis\nVictims of the range of abuses\nInappropriate behaviours \n\nCriteria for these roles are:\n\nChild and Adult DBS - on the update service\nPrevious Experience in a similar role\nNVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent (desirable not essential)\nReferences covering the last 3 years \n\nINDLIVHSC
