Van Driver
Location: Rochester, ME2 4SQ
Shift Pattern: 06:00 -15:00 starts Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to perm for right candidate
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Please note this is a multidrop role which requires a lot of driving and dropping off in central London and the surrounding areas. Please only apply if you are comfortable doing this.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver goods to customers in London, Kent, Sussex, and Essex
* Deliver flooring products including Carpets, Vinyl, and other products
* Use powered pump trucks and tail lifts (training provided).
* Safely operate the vehicle and adhere to standards and safety protocols.
* Handle deliveries using tail lifts and pallet trucks where FLTs aren't available.
Requirements:
1. Full UK driving licence
2. Must have multi drop driving experience
3. ADR preferred however not necessary
4. Must be physically fit due to nature of the role
