An independent accountancy firm commutable from Nottingham and the surrounding areas are seeking to hire into a key Senior Accountant to Manager level position. The firm have been very successful at attracting clients and have a team, so are keen to hire into this vital position. The owner would like to bring in someone with proven accountancy practice experience and an experienced Senior Accountant to Manager level hire would be welcomed, but the firm can consider anyone with solid experience from Semi-Senior level up to Assistant Manager grade. If this firm can hire someone with sufficient experience, this role will include helping the owner to on-board clients and deal with new client relationships. The role will include managing a portfolio of around 200 clients, for which you will prepare accounts, do bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS returns, advising clients and more. The owner is keen to give the right candidate autonomy to work on this portfolio of clients and you will be supported by a junior accountant.
