The Kids Country at Sacrewell Learning Officer will be part of the education team based at Sacrewell, with the post fully funded for a fixed term by The East of England Agricultural Society. The initial duration of the position is 12 months, with the possibility of extension depending on funding and project needs.
The Learning Officer will be responsible for developing curriculum-based hands-on education workshops about the journey from farm to fork, sustainable farming, and healthy eating habits, fostering awareness of the farming industry, food production and sustainability. They will deliver the workshops to KS1 and KS2 children in primary schools within Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, and at partner locations.
