The Role
You will play a key part in the growth of the Norwich team, handling a broad range of family law work and taking an active role in client development and networking.
Responsibilities include:
* Conducting initial consultations and delivering clear, practical legal advice
* Managing your own caseload from instruction to conclusion
* Drafting pleadings, agreements, statements and correspondence
* Advising on costs and preparing Letters of Engagement
* Attending court hearings independently and supporting senior colleagues
* Preparing detailed bundles for hearings and conferences
* Booking counsel and liaising with expert witnesses
* Managing disbursements, invoices and matter-level financial compliance
* Undertaking risk assessments and internal compliance checks on time
* Participating in business development, networking and profile-building activities
Experience & Expertise
You will ideally have experience across a broad range of family matters, including:
* Financial remedy cases
* Children matters
* Family Law Act proceedings
* Pre- and post‑nuptial agreements (desirable; training available)
About You

* Are 4+ years PQE in family law
* Are confident managing their own caseload autonomously
* Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
