Finatal are partnering with a PE-backed international SaaS business (c. £40m ARR), seeking a Finance Manager to join the team as the business continues to scale across multiple global markets. Operating across multiple international entities, the business has a centralised finance function supporting rapid growth, increasing operational complexity, and continued investment in product and market expansion.
The Role:
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will take full ownership of the month-end close and accounting processes for multiple international subsidiaries, with a strong focus on accuracy, control and scalability.
You will play a key role in ensuring robust financial reporting across a multi-entity, multi-currency structure, while supporting ongoing process improvement and system optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end month-end close process for multiple international entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Take responsibility for core accounting operations including:
* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Cash management and bank reconciliations
* Customer billing and credit control processes
• Prepare and post monthly accounting entries including:
* Accruals, prepayments and deferred revenue recognition (SaaS subscription model)
* Payroll postings
* Fixed asset accounting
* Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring strong control and audit readiness.
• Produce monthly management accounts and reporting packs, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Manage intercompany accounting and eliminations across the group structure.
• Support group-wide statutory reporting and audit processes, working closely with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements in coordination with external advisors.
• Act as a key point of contact for auditors, ensuring high-quality supporting documentation and timely responses.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, controls and systems, including optimisation of NetSuite ERP usage and reporting capabilities.
Requirements:
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
• Strong experience in month-end close, management accounting and balance sheet ownership.
• Proven experience (1-3 years) working in a PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environment.
• Strong exposure to NetSuite ERP (essential), including AP, AR, fixed assets, reporting and reconciliation modules.
• Solid understanding of subscription-based / deferred revenue accounting.
• Experience managing intercompany accounting and multi-entity, multi-currency structures (ideally Swiss).
• Experience working with external auditors and supporting audit processes end-to-end.
• Strong Excel and analytical capability.
• Confident communicator with ability to partner across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, process-driven and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
