Job Summary
The post holder will coordinate a small team of research personnel and work across the Trust to ensure the safe delivery of studies on time and within target. The role involves undertaking study-related procedures as appropriate, as well as the assessment, planning, and ongoing care of research participants throughout the study.
This is a part-time, fixed-term post for 12 months. A secondment may be considered with the consent of the existing manager.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Proactively contribute to achieving clinical research outcomes through individual and team efforts. Manage patients' research experiences and control risks.
2. Provide line management for designated junior research colleagues and other research staff.
3. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the ongoing development of the department.
4. Increase patient recruitment and retention into clinical trials and research studies.
5. Facilitate and maintain effective communication within the research team and with the wider multidisciplinary team.
