Clinical Services Manager ( RMN )
Salary – Up to £45,000 per annum
Location – Reading, Berkshire
Hours – Permanent – Full Time hours
Shift Pattern – Mainly from Monday to Friday 0900, with occasional weekend and/or night shifts to supervise night staff; participation in the on-call rota is expected.
Summary
Appoint Healthcare partners with a reputable national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. We seek an experienced Nurse or Clinical Services Manager to work in a specialist service supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions. The facility is a modern, purpose-built home with 13 en-suite bedrooms.
The Reading service is a complex rehabilitation unit for men and women with primary mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, treatment-resistant conditions, schizoaffective disorder, depression, and anxiety. Secondary diagnoses may include substance misuse, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, and Autism.
Requirements
* A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
* Valid NMC registration without restrictions
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* At least 2 years of managerial experience in care settings
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working with eating disorders as a nurse in the UK
* Strong teamwork skills
* Highly organized and able to perform under pressure
Some of your duties will include
* Managing and developing a skilled, motivated team through recruitment, development, and performance management
* Overseeing staffing, budgets, materials, and equipment management
* Fostering effective multidisciplinary team relationships
* Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and legislation, meeting quality standards, and achieving KPIs
* Implementing clinical interventions and treatments, evaluating through governance and audits
