Building Services Account Manager
Specializing in M&E / Facilities Management, based in Central London on a single contract.

Our client is a well-established property and real estate organization with high-profile commercial M&E and Facilities Management accounts across the UK and globally. Due to internal restructuring, they seek an experienced and dynamic Account Manager / Director to serve a prestigious commercial client in Central London. The role involves delivering a 5-star service, including M&E maintenance, energy & sustainability, and soft services within a high-profile building.
The team comprises approximately 25 staff, including supervisory, engineering, and contract support/facilities teams, with direct liaising with the on-site client. The salary is between £75,000 and £85,000, complemented by a bonus scheme, pension, and opportunities for training and advancement within the market-leading building services & facilities management sector.
Candidates should have at least five years of experience managing M&E or Total Facilities Management in a commercial environment, whether with a dedicated M&E service provider, managing agent, or similar. While technical expertise is not mandatory due to a strong engineering team, experience in managing Landlord Services or M&E/Total FM clients is essential. Additional training such as ILM Level 3-5, IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH, MIBFM, etc., is desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a team of approximately 25 staff
* Budget responsibility for circa £2.5 million P&L
* Delivering planned and reactive M&E maintenance
* Engaging with multiple stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance through auditing
* Implementing energy and sustainability initiatives
* Reducing WIP
* Identifying opportunities for project works
* Succession planning
