Fortem Solutions is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team on the Stonewater contract, covering properties across Bath, Swindon, Trowbridge, and Westbury. The Electrician will handle various property maintenance and repair tasks within Social Housing properties. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
The Electrician is expected to perform work to a high standard with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks with a focus on 'First time Fix'. All work must adhere to company Health and Safety guidelines, remain within budget and time constraints, and be conducted courteously and professionally around tenants.
The Customer
Our long-term contract with Stonewater covers over 7,500 houses in four South-West regions, including Taunton, Yeovil, Bristol, Swindon, Salisbury, and Bournemouth. We provide Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works, and Electrical Services. Duties and Responsibilities
* Installing, servicing, and maintaining electrical systems and appliances according to The IET Wiring Regulations.
* Installing, repairing, inspecting, and testing electrical installations; completing the relevant Electrical Certificates or Electrical Condition Reports.
* Carrying out EICRs and remedial upgrades as needed.
* Collaborating with other operatives to complete projects.
* Ordering materials efficiently for planned works.
* Following company policies on occupational road risk.
* Recording and submitting accurate data via electronic devices.
* Using a PDA smartphone to communicate with the Repairs Planning team and update work progress.
* Completing daily worksheets detailing work undertaken and materials used.
What You Will Need
Essential criteria:
* C&G 2360 Part 1&2 Electrotechnical Competences and NVQ 3 Certificate 2356.
* C&G 18th Edition Certificate.
* Full UK driving license (max 6 points).
Desirable:
* C&G 2391.
* Unvented Hot Water Certificate.
* Water Regulations Certificate.
* Part P Certification.
* JIB Health & Safety Test and current JIB card.
* Testing & Inspecting Certificate (C&G 2377).
* PAT Certificate.
* Experience in Social Housing.
