Bank Reconciliations: Keep track of everything from PayPal to NatWest to Soldo - daily/weekly, we've got to stay on top of it all. Payroll Precision: Process weekly payroll and monthly salaries using Xero. Accuracy is key - they don't want any employee to miss their pay! Tax & VAT: Get hands-on with quarterly VAT returns. Bonus points if you've got knowledge of customs and duties. Expenses: Manage company expenses with our super-easy Soldo software - because budgeting doesn't have to be hard! Liaising with HMRC & External Accountants: Handle those external communications when needed - you're the go-to expert in-house. Supporting Financial Reporting: Help the Financial Controller with reporting, data analysis, and improvement initiatives. What They're Looking For: Experience: You've worked in bookkeeping or as an Accounts Assistant, and you're confident with payroll processing. Tech Savvy: You're comfortable with Xero and Excel, and you're always looking for ways to improve efficiency. Detail-Oriented: You catch the small stuff and won't let anything slip through the cracks. Self-Starter: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work independently while still being a key team player. Growth-Minded: You love learning, adapting, and improving things as they grow (and grow fast!). What's In It For You? Healthcare: Top-tier health cover! Learning & Development: £250 annual budget for courses or books. Wellbeing: £100 annual wellbeing budget because your health matters. Work-Life Balance: Up to 2 weeks of working abroad per year. Get your work done, but why not do it from somewhere fun? Perks: Free lunch & learns, casual dress, volunteer days and exclusive product discounts for you and your friends/family. Team Fun: From axe throwing to crazy golf, they know how to let off some steam and bond as a team. If you're looking for a role where your impact will be felt, where you'll help drive a business forward, and where you'll have a blast along the way, I'd love to hear from you!
