About the Opportunity An established and well-regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Lawyer to join its Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive with residential conveyancing experience to join a supportive and collaborative environment where employee wellbeing, professional development, and exceptional client service are genuinely valued. Both full-time and reduced-hours arrangements will be considered. The Role You will be responsible for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring transactions progress efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care. Key responsibilities include: Managing a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process and providing practical, commercially focused guidance Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, and other third parties Reviewing and advising on searches, title documentation, mortgage offers, surveys, and related matters Conducting client due diligence, source of funds checks, and ongoing risk assessments Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer documentation, SDLT returns, and related legal documents Coordinating exchange of contracts and completions Managing post-completion matters, including Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions Maintaining accurate file management and compliance standards Participating in networking and business development activities to support departmental growth Candidate Profile Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, and Chartered Legal Executives who can demonstrate: Ideally 3 years' PQE or equivalent residential conveyancing experience Experience independently managing a residential property caseload Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential conveyancing Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem solving Strong organisational and time management abilities Excellent attention to detail and compliance awareness The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure A positive and collaborative approach to team working What's on Offer Competitive salary dependent upon experience Hybrid working arrangements following an initial onboarding period Generous annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays Additional leave during the Christmas period Birthday leave Paid sick leave and dependant leave provisions Healthcare and wellbeing benefits Employee volunteering opportunities Staff discounts on legal services Bonus and recognition schemes Employee referral programme Regular social and wellbeing events Structured performance reviews and career development support Annual salary and bonus reviews Supportive, collaborative, and people-focused culture
