Job Description
Yorkshire Cleaning Fabrics Ltd (YCF) is a long-established, family-run business specialising in the manufacture and distribution of textile cleaning products. Due to retirement, we are seeking a hands-on Works Manager / Foreman to oversee our factory operations and support our continued growth.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our Halifax production facility, supervising a friendly and experienced team of 10. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, team-focused environment and enjoys being involved on the factory floor as well as planning and organising operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising and supporting a team of approximately 10 operatives
* Planning, organising and implementing production and manufacturing schedules
* Working to integrate our current ERP system (WinMan) into warehouse and manufacturing functions
* Coordinating dispatch, delivery routes and schedules
* Providing practical operational cover and support across production and dispatch when needed
